What is this?

This is a re-built version of web page originally built as part of an application for a mentorship project in 2004 sponsored by Vtape and The Images Festival, for which I was accepted. I had been making small videos and posting them online and also making them into flipbooks. The online version served as an archive for the developing work. The resulting project was an rather extensive web page called Interval and was part of the online component of Images in 2005. Interval was posted on the Images site for a few years and then removed.

I re-posted Interval on the web server at OCAD university, where I taught for many years. There I continued adding to the archive. Interval was crippled by Adobe when it stopped supporting the Flash plugin in January 2021, and then the serverspace at OCAD was decomissioned in January 2024, so the Interval project is no longer viewable in its original form.

I am now converting the Flash videos to Gifs and posting them online again, presented slightly differently. This page is one example...
