flip books on Interval

Interval, a digital archive of my work, includes a set of videos that feature flip books that I have made.

While the Interval site is currently being repaired because of Adobe's decision to no longer support Flash, this flip book set has been restored in the art practice collection. However the videos in this set do not loop, as they did in the original flash version, and they do not open in a frameset window format, as in the original Interval format.

making a flip book

Making flip books was a process intimately connected with the work I was doing with time-lapse photography and stop motion photography, and developed out of the slicing process I originally was doing with wood.

This is a video of me making flipbooks, which was also made into a flip book.
